I'm doingthis from memory, so please forgive any factual errors.

In 1989 a friend and I traveled to every National League city (on separate weekends) to watch the Giants in their pennant winning campaign.

For Montreal, we stayed at a Ramada Inn which was on the main road (Rue de Sherbrook maybe??) that goes from downtown to the Olympic Park area (Parc Mansonuve, maybe??)

The Ramada (a slightly older building, standard cookie-cutter design, perfectly fine for our needs) was within long walking distance to the Stade Olympique, although we took the rubber-wheeled subway to save time before the game (a station opens directly onto an indoor walkway to the stadium entrance).

I have no idea if it's still there, and if so, whether it's still under the Ramada flag.....
