Is AVOD really the most important factor to you in determining flight quality? Can't you load video on your own device? (Acknowledging the lack of in-seat power can be an issue on a seven hour flight.)

These aircraft are generally viewed as having the most comfortable economy seats in the UA fleet. To me, that would count for a whole lot more than AVOD if I was stuck in the back.
