Just finished a two week stay ... a few comments as a Plat

Arrived from PHL at 10am. Room, as expected was not ready. It ended up not being ready to almost exactly 3pm, despite my e-mail the hotel a week in advance. However, the hotel rebounded as the front-desk agent bought me a few rounds of Guinness while I waited.

Complimentary breakfast (included in my rate, not sure if it's free for Plats) in the Saddle Room was good. Service was excellent.

Room service was also good and timely. It was complimentary as well, but I did have to pay the delivery charge (I think it's 6EUR).

Both of the bars on-site were nice and offered different vibes. I frequent each of them, but they do get quite packed Thur-Sat night.

I arranged for a cab to take me to/from work on the other side of Dublin with the concierge. It never came, despite each day making an issue of it not being there. After 4 days I gave up and just grabbed a cab out front. I would never arrange for a cab given how many are out front, but they offered the service, and never delivered.

Overall, I really enjoyed this hotel. One of the nicer hotels I've stayed in. I would certainly stay again.
