a no brainer right?
how's the seat pitch? should I be expecting ryanair or something more humane?
Considering you'll pay no less than 230 euro to fly with KLM, yeah that's a great deal.
Transavia's seat pitch is 30 inches, which is the same as Ryanair, KLM, and basically every other European narrowbody. Some seats up the front have a few inches extra – which you have to pay for. If you don't pick your seat in advance and the flight is nearly full you, may get lucky and be given one of the extra legroom "economy comfort" seats... or you might get a middle seat.
In my experience, the differences between service and hard product that different carriers offer on European short- to medium-haul flights are very small. Price and schedule are what determines who I fly with, and I really only consider the quality of the airline as a tie-breaker. Long haul is a different story...
OK, this sounds pretty good then.
I'm based in Canada and commute to Tel Aviv for work 2x a month but they company always puts me up front so this will be my first flight in Y in about 2 years lol.
Totally agree with you on the last part by the way.
When I go on vacation and have to pay out of pocket for travel arrangements on long haul the onboard product trumps schedule most of the time.
