I've flown the UA 757 TATL in Y. It was a fairly comfortable experience as Y goes and catering was substantial relative to AC (superior quality too), but that was a while back - before some new catering changes. It was also my only long haul on UA Y to date - the rest has been in J. For some reason I got it in my mind that EWR is 764 territory.

I understand they've updated 14 763s to AVOD in Y. Where do they use the 764s and updated 763s?

There may be a (very) bright side: do the old 763s have Channel 9?

Also these 763s have the 'new' J product and F product, so I m not sure why they didn't refurb Y at the same time.
