I am trying to think of a Lounge significantly better that GF (never been in CCR). I am the first to admit and am no way as well traveled as most on here, but I can't think of a lounge which stands significantly especially in Europe (which is the region in which BA competes)

TK - I like their lounge don't get me wrong but it does get rammed there at times (you can guest your whole family in as Elite+, which is great perk but it has the predictable problem). Food not as good, nor drinks and business services way behind. Overall not as good, especially as the only views overlook the car park.

AA - Flagship T8 JFK - Okay, functional but well behind GF

IB - Really like their lounge in T4s, excellent food there and great views. Better than GF? Depends on what you priorities.

United - EWR Club okay in parts compares poorly to GF and GC though

LH - Not been in their nicer lounges so can't pass judgement the ones I have been in DUS and TXL are nice but hardly anything to get excited over.


No doubt there are nicer lounges out there, but there is little point in BA spending millions to complete with a lounge designed to compete in a very different market 10,000 miles away.
