I guess this is sort of a question, sort of a rant.

I swore off Delta some time ago, but my fiancee still flies them and has a stack of miles that we'd like to use in an upcoming trip, particularly on KQ from SEZ.

A revenue ticket prices out at $203 one way.

An award ticket prices out at 22,500 miles and $197.

Is this real? Is this normal or is this a wild anomaly? Or is it specific to KQ that this is happening?
