That would be my expectation as well. Over the past few years, ET have been very good about giving lounge invitations for *G + 1 guest in airports where necessary. The last time I recall not getting them was in May 2012 (both at CAN and DAR), so it's been quite a while ago. I don't recall if it was a *A requirement at that time to give access to contract lounges for *G in economy or not, but ET was pretty new to *A at the time as well.
