My guess the answer is no. But I do suggest to use your Plat Card to booking the booking with Hertz/Avis and then go into the counter when your return your car and switch the CC to the Gold to get 2X the points. That why, if you do run into any "issue" you still get Plat coverage. If everything is smooth and no issue, switch and pay with your Gold card.
