Is Platinum Gift 500 points or 250 points?

I've always gotten 500 points for Platinum Gift, but this time staying at Four Points they've only given me 250 points. I wrote SPG Champion but got a replied that Four Points are right to only give me 250 points for Platinum Gift? What's going on?!!?!?
