I intend to book two Bonus Points package stays, let us say Day 1 and Day 3.
The T&C said very clearly: Exclusive to IHG® Rewards Club members - Earn X,000 bonus Rewards Club points for your stay when you book the X,000 Bonus Point Package. A stay is defined as one night or consecutive nights at the same hotel, regardless of frequency of check-in/out.
So my understanding is that you can not booking Day 1 and Day 2 under the same rate, or you will loose the second Bonus Points since your two reservation will be considered as ONE STAY.
But if I book Day 1 and Day 3 with booking another rate (i.e. Normal rate), it would still be defined as ONE STAY, would that be right?
What if I book an award night in between, would that change the prospect that I could earn both Bonus Points?
Anyone tried this before and care to share the outcomes? Thanks.
Usually two bonus stay options
A) 1k every night
B) 5k per stay
o no booking multiple one nights makes no difference , even if you check into/checkout each morning .... It is still ONE Stay
o Sure if you want the 5k stay bonus. but are staying multiple night so then to avoid paying too much. Simply book 1x night at 5k higher nightly rate AND the other nights without the bonus rate (or as the 1k per night bonus rate)
