I think its really funny that people are jumping off of a bridge because of what happened today. Glitches like this happen for RB/BB/Serve all the time. Can people take a deep breath and lets see how it plays out the next few days instead of overreacting and calling Amex and One Vanilla to see what their thoughts are. Sheesh.

I tried to load this afternoon before I read all of this. Had to pick up an order, so tried to load a Vanilla at customer service. She pushed a button on her side and before I even swiped my Vanilla, she said "Oh, it says the system is down right now". Then she asked if I wanted to give it a try anyways. I said I would try, and then had the same $0 can be applied to this payment result that everyone is getting. I find it very strange that if this is truly intentional, and something that they have been trying to roll out since Oct. 1st like some have reported, that nobody bothered to inform the mgrs. so that they could be prepared for the flood of questions. It makes the mgrs. look like they don't even know what is going on in their own stores, and it causes a huge waste of time at those stores that are trying to be accommodating and taking people to several different registers to try.
It has only been 5 months since they cut off credit cards, when they did, they sent out a memo, then did it within 24 hours. I would think that the same procedure would be followed if they were to cut off debit cards.
