OT but relevant, some on here are wondering what's going to happen with the 3 remaining A380s due for delivery. I noticed this at the Engineering open day this summer - an early study for the cabin which shows the regular 14 First seats placed on the top deck.

I wouldn't be surprised if BA go for this option for the last 3 jets. Of course they'll be creating a small sub fleet, but seating wise it's not too much of a nightmare. Airbus are pushing for configs like this, and for BA it would make a lot of sense to put the new 787-9 product up there, which is suited for the narrower cabin, and add another club cabin that would likely sell on routes such as Washington/HK. Some love the current A380 first but personally I think the space is under-utilised and sparse - a cosier sleeker cabin up top with those large bathrooms would be just as good if not better.
