The other site was getting crowded and diverted. Thought I would share with you some "must see" sights in Israel.

Religious - Anywhere in Jerusalem from the Mosque to the Church of the Holy Sepulchar to the Kotel (Wailing Wall). The sea of Galilee, The river Jordan (be ready to say - that's it!)Bethlehem and many others
It doesn't seem to matte ryour religion, any site in Jerusalem is overpowering.
try to take a tour around the outside of Jerusalem - the various views are each breathtaking.

Natural Sights - The Dead Sea area, from Mount Masada to the Dead Sea to the water falls are a great day trip after seeing Solomons Pillars.

The ride to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv, with the first sight of Jerusalem as you come around the curves. The Golan Heights, from the ski area to the sweeping valleys below.

For modern day excitement, there is Tel Aviv with night life visits to Jaffa. I lived in Tiberias on the Sea of Galiliee, just south of the miracle of the fish. St. Peter's fish is a great dinner.The disco's are fun!

I'm sure many others will add many great locations.
