Are you talking about the certifcates that are purchased for a certain category hotel and price?

However, in general, those certificates include tax. Most free stays include or don't charge tax.

It is up the the hotel if they will charge you a resort fee. It varies.

However, I'm not familiar with a certificate that says it doesn't include tax. Where is it from?
