That's going to happen, there are many that still refuse to use SWU instead of eVIPs, that's no reason to stop trying to use them. And it got you dialog with live body at AA, better than most communications!
It's not mandated. But I'm not going to scour every tweet to see if it relates to PDB, but I have searched for #PDBServed to see if it's being used. If you want to use it, great. If you choose to use something else, fine. The biggest point is to do something and don't expect AA to read your mind that there is something that will cause you to take your business elsewhere.
