I flew them on Sunday from Gatwick for the first time in a couple of years having nothing but praise for them in the past.
This time however I noticed that the seats are narrower than BA and the aisles are wider for some reason, I don't get the logic in that.
It was a full flight and I had a centre seat so maybe that made my experience feel worse than normal. My friend had the aisle seat and doesn't travel a lot, but even he commented that it felt 'shoddy' compared to BA.
Crew were meh, couldn't really care, but you get that with BA too.
Boarding wasn't great. We ran along to gate 55 at 1800 because the Gatwick screens showed "gate closes at 1811" in red making sure everyone gets there well ahead of departure. Boarding actually STARTED at 1850 so that was annoying.
I'm doing the return to Gatwick this Saturday and can't say I'm particularly excited by the prospect. We chose them for the price though and the fact Gatwick was where we needed to be rather than Heathrow. However I will choose them again as a last resort when price is a real factor.
