Haven't booked yet and haven't used Dollar in eons, but their rates are about 1/2 of Hertz's.

Called Dollar to inquire what their cancellation penalty is on a prepaid and was told I would have to go back to the booking source to get the answer. I said that would be you, the agent, since I would be booking it via Dollar's website. The agent said I would have to book it first, then call back to get the answer, she confirmed there is a penalty but would not disclose what it is unless I had a reservation number. Ridiculous.

Does anyone happen to know what the cancellation penalty is on a prepaid? Couldn't find it in Dollar's T&Cs or elsewhere online.
