recently moved from uk to sfo

i recently moved from the uk to san francisco (sfo, not sjc), and after being totally spoiled by british airways which gives you priority and lounge no matter how far you go, i don't know what airline to choose! please help.

my answers to the questionnaire...

1. What is most important to you in a frequent flyer program (FFP)?
upgrades, priority services, baggage allowance, good award redemption rates, better award access, lounge access, etc.
>>> Reply: lounge accesses and priority services, then upgrades.

2. How many miles do you usually fly each year? How many flights/sectors?
less than 25000 miles, 50000+ miles and 20-25 flights, etc.
>>> Reply: less than 25000

3. What fare class do you usually buy?
first, business, premium economy, economy
>>> Reply: first for most domestic flights, premium economy or business for 1~2 international flights/year.

4. Are you able to choose your airlines and/or class of service? Do you travel for work and/or pleasure?
>>> Reply: yes i can choose my airlines and i travel for pleasure.

5. Which routes do you fly most often?
transatlantic, domestic USA, intra-Asia, etc.
>>> Reply: mostly transatlantic. 1 trip to london and 1 trip to seoul per year.

6. What is your home airport?
>>> Reply: sfo

7. Do you have status in any FFP? What is it? How miles do you have banked in each FFP, if any?
>>> Reply: british airways silver (~250k), virgin atlantic gold (~150k)

8. What are your preferred airlines, if any?
>>> Reply: virgin america, british airways
