It is not as if I have a choice given I don't live in London...
By that argument, then , since there is no 1st class between MAN and LHR, should need 2 awards ; one for the domestic economy sector and 1 for the 1st class sector

You do have choices ; you are not forced to redeem on BA ( nor even forced to collect to BA )
