If there is a long immigration line, that is prior to baggage so does not matter.
A long customs line is really rare. I have never seen one outside the US. And anyway, you would be behind all w/o bags, so no big difference.
Much more useful (if the airport has it and the airline provides it) would be if they provide to a pass to a fast track immigration line.
Never been to Nepal, so these are just general comments.
