I've used the digital key for my last 3 stays at the Hilton Old Town Alexandria. It works better than expected. It's nice to be able to walk into the hotel and go directly to my room. Helpfully, two waters and the breakfast certificates have been delivered to the room in advance.

The elevator requires an unlock to press the floor key. My first experience was that the app took a bit too long to initiate this unlock, but more recent experience has been good. I've gotten the 2500 point credit in each instance, which has been very welcome.
