What do you mean by best?

As was explained to you in the thread you started ("?Seattle to Heathrow on AA instead of Vancouver on BA"), if you redeem Avios for TATL travel on AA or BA, you'll be assessed hefty surcharges. The way to pay just modest surcharges for TATL travel using Avios is to fly EI through DUB, or Air Berlin through Germany. EI serves SFO, ORD, JFK, BOS, and MCO. AA/AS can get you to those cities from SEA. (And CX flies YVR-JFK with modest surcharges.)

But every leg you add to your itinerary (like YYJ-SEA, DUB-LON, or DUS-LON) will require additional Avios. So in order to avoid high surcharges, you'll have to pay somewhat more in Avios -- and have more connections on your itinerary.
