I saw the other thread about how carry-on limit is only 5 kg even in business which, if true, means I can't do much about it if they just bring the bags out in any old random order? But if it would help me, I would be happy to carry-on my bag (it would be less than 35 pounds) and just buy the liquids like mouthwash, shampoo, etc in KTM.

This is a new airline to me so... any tips, etc would be helpful. I already called them and the lady confirmed my seat requests & told me I'd be getting an included hotel at the layover city in China so that part is all fixed.
