If DL was to purchase 20 772s, it would have to involve the cancellation of the A350 order. There is absolutely no reason for DL to take on those planes if they were to take on 20 772s which by the way are younger than DL's 8 772s. DL wants to go for frequency over size. Don't be surprised to see DL launch additional routes to PVG and another flight down under.
