DL used to have the same flight numbers for transoceanic flights for many many years. I think it was a few years back that they started changing them all. JFK to CDG was 118, FRA was 106, etc. And almost systemwide, even numbered flights meant one direction and odd numbered flights the reverse. Not true anymore.
