The two "old-timer" flight numbers for JFK-Europe that lasted the longest before the latest switch to the 400+ series for JFK T4 marketing purposes, were flight DL30 JFK-SVO and DL82 JFK-NCE. Those two kept the same flight numbers since 1991 when DL bought the routes from Pan Am (used to be PA30 JFK-SVO 747 and PA82 JFK-NCE A310)
There have been quite a few others in the last 15 years: BUD, VLC, LYS, KBP, CAI, AMM- all have not returned...
And I should have known all this, as I used to travel on all those flights (including 30 and 82), except for KBP. Must be starting to forget things as I age.
