SFO lounge renovation date (confirmed), and frequency increase (speculation)

Lounge related
1.) The SFO lounge agents told me next week - somewhere around October 15, give or take a few days - is when the SFO lounge expansion opens. By the looks of the construction, the lounge is going to grow by 2x or so. It's the first time I've seen the construction and I'm impressed by the scale.

2.) The new lounge area will have a "deli" section and espresso bar. This isn't exclusive, but that's what was mentioned to me.

3.) Staff mentioned to me on nights when there are 2x departures, the lounge is completely packed and overflow must be sent to BA (as mentioned in other threads). Can't say I'm surprised...pretty much everyone on this forum noticed the lounge size limitations when it opened in 2011!

Frequency related. Speculation.
3rd flight going to daily sometime in next 6 months.

4.) This was the rumor among SFO ground agents. They say the fights are consistently full, and that CX892/893 would go daily sometime around year-end.

I notice we've got a few SFO threads, if this is more appropriate there feel free to move.
