Hi,
I'm trying to reserve a seat for a flight ahead of check-in opening time, which will be at 8:30 pm today.
It's an Avios flight in CE. When I try to change the seat, I get the error below:
Sorry, we are unable to process your request. Please contact your local British Airways office.
I have done a search in the forum, found a few references but all fairly inconclusive.
I have called BAEC, spoke with someone in India, they said that they manually changed the seat for me, but when I go online I cannot see the seat being assigned to me. However, the seat I requested now is not available in the seat map anymore (perhaps it has really been assigned to me).
Has anyone experience anything similar?
My partner is on the a separate booking so I'd want to make sure we are sitting together.
