Changing established flight numbers - DL16/17 soon DL40/41?
Was browsing for some flights to SYD for next year and noticed that DL16/17 is now 40/41.

I frequently take the same routes and times and know most of my numbers without even thinking about it. Didn't realize how attached I was to this.

Is this a common practice or a rare re-shuffle? Possible IT screw-up?
