A) Are at GGL and can use your joker;
B) Able to plan a year in advance to get that reward date on a weekend;
C) Pretty flexible to fly on any weekdays go and come back early/late
In order to get the vouchers in the first place, I would have to fly so often on very unpredictable business trips that B and C would be impossible.
Which just leaves me with A which unfortunately is about 2,000 TP away...
MY last GUF2 voucher was used for 2 x F tickets to JFK. Booked 6months or so before. It was a midweek trip (Mon - Thurs) but that was preference (there was availability for weekend flights)
I accept that JFK is a route (like Washington Dulles) that has higher than average availability. However if you are looking for US travel, I woudl just use JFK as a hub to get somewhere else that is not available directly. For the savings that the GUF2 voucher gives, it provides room to book a domestic F flight to your end destination.
