You might get more responses posting this on the AA board.

On the 757, if you don't mind bulkheads try and get row 9. Lotsa legroom. Note, there's no window seat (only an aisle and "middle"), since there's a full-sized exit door on either side. Which brings me to...

Row 10, seats A and F, have no seat in front of them. Even more legroom.

Note, though, that these seats are all classified as exit rows and (as far as I know) are blocked for elites until the day of departure, so you'll have to ask to switch at check-in. Also, there's not much overhead bin space for either of these rows, so try and board early if you can.

On the Super80, obviously exit rows are your best bet--rows 20 and 21. But all of AA's MD-80s have been reconfigured for MRTC, so just about any other seat (except E--middle) is OK.
