Thank you for your input. I was able to find flights out of IAD-TLV with a stop in Vienna for 160k for two people (80k a person with saver) but the surcharge is $1509 on the aeroplan website. The carrier is Austrian Air so shouldn't the surcharges be a lot less since it's a different carrier than Air Canada or would I need to call Austrian Air to book the flight with the Aeroplan miles?
