In July, I'm scheduled to fly from LAX to TPE on an American Airlines codeshare flight with EVA Air. I will arrive at Terminal 2 at 9:35 P.M., and I must transfer to Terminal 1 to board a China Airlines flight to Bangkok that departs at 10:35 P.M.--exactly one hour later.

According to the American Airlines reservations agent who scheduled my itinerary, one hour would be sufficient time to make the transfer at Taipei. I've never been to Taipei, so I'm not familiar with the airport. Will I have time to make such a transfer to another terminal and another airline? Will I have to claim my baggage and recheck it with China Airlines? I hope I'm wrong, but one hour seems to be pushing the envelope. Any thoughts will most certainly be appreciated.
