Landed on a WN flight from PDX. We were told to stay seated, then 2 police officers came on the plane. They call up 2 passengers from the back of the plane and take them off. Then we are allowed off.

It turned out one or both of them smoked in the lavatory during flight (I guess flight attendant noticed and then informs ground?). After leaving the plane, I saw the police talking with them. Sounded like they were only getting a warning - police saying "you are only in the air for a couple of hours; use the nicotine gum".

What a moron - I wish they would have actually enforced the penalties to stop that behavior. I guess they don't take it seriously enough!
