Based on the above, according to my calculations I will get 420 status points from VA Velocity FFP on the above itinerary:

NZ LHR-LAX-AKL: 240
NZ AKL-SIN: 40
SQ: SIN-BKK-SIN: 60 (30x2)
SQ: SIN-AKL: 80

seems that 420 is already in the Silver bracket and 80 points shy of Gold. Can someone else confirm the above?
Is this a better position to be in if I want to have access to NZ lounges? Seems it will be quicker for me to get to VA Velocity Gold than it will be for me to get to NZ Airpoints Gold.
