Aside from a few confused glances and a mouthed "what the hell" as I pulled back the curtain to use the bathroom, I don't know. I was upgraded while on the plane, while they were downgraded at the gate. I didn't hang around to gloat when the plane landed.
Given that their bookings contravened our WT Only travel policy, I don't feel too bad for them.
More to the point, I'm surprised that there could ever be a scenario where a paying WT+ customer could be downgraded while a WT customer is upgraded.
