I haven't read this entire thread, but it resonates strongly with me.

If the OP is still around, I suggest adding a poll with 3 choices:

A. Give half of your Sunday to the company in order to arrive in the work city at a reasonable hour
B. Take a late flight on Sunday, possibly getting to your hotel after 1a
C. Fly out at 6a on Monday

For me, option C is simply out of the question; why make Mondays even less pleasant? As such, I oscilate between A and B, with a slight preference for A.
