Over the summer I was required to be in China for some business. Last minute travel plans meant tickets weren't cheap but I was able to find some good business class deals on China Southern, and it allows me to route the return via Los Angeles where I had a family function to attend.

Eventually my route was on China Southern from YVR to PVG via CAN. The return would be SHA to LAX via CAN. This would allow me to board the 787 on the outbound and the A380 on the return.

After spending a few days in LA, I would take Delta from LAX to YVR. I have completed the trip report on my blog but I would need some time to format the reports to share in the forum so pardon me for the wait.
