Just took a look at aerlingus.com, to see that the option to use the "classic" site is gone. So had a look around the new site & did a dummy booking, to see that one of my favourite features from the old site, seems to have been taken away.
I always liked that when doing booking, you could select the flights you wanted & had an option to view the seat map, prior to entering the passenger details. I always found this to be a very useful feature, but I couldn't find a way to do this on the new site
Seating availability is something that's quite important to me & I'll always check to see what seats are available before booking, particularly when booking TATL flights in business. I know, we can use the likes of expertflyer to see the seat maps, but it was just so handy to have this right there in the booking engine.
Does anyone know if the view seat maps feature is actually removed from the new website, or have I just not been looking in the right place?
