My question is that if I book the flights on my gold card (for the points) will she still benefit from the platinum travel insurance cover as part of her supplementary card.

I understand the core medical cover should not be affected but this is for the other benefits that require the flights to be paid for with the card.

Thanks in advance
While medical cover ain't affected anyway in reality Amex don't care if it's not on the Platinum card as long as it's on another AmEx card (one issued by them).
