not much in the way of perks. The resort fee is waived only if you're on an award booking. They already know you're a platinum.
The reason I got the card is because when I called to make a change on my booking she mentioned if I signed up for their card, I would get the the resort fee waived because i would be platinum. I was only gold passport at the time and she said it would be 50% off resort fee with just that.
