I see your point... it's actually the % change from the previous number and not an overall amount. Having done all the calculations my head is spinning a tad, but it should give you an indication of the effect on status earning ^
Na its the percentage change from the new "number" of trips to reach status as vompared to the old scheme... with the new number as the base(hence the mistake, which i hv already noted long ago)

Guess owner was too busy to fix- which is understandable...
