Hasn't stopped CX from dropping 744s (with a great F product). Hasn't stopped LH from dropping 744s (which had a pretty fanstastic F product). Why would it stop TG if they're getting more fuel-efficient planes to replace them and they're losing money with their current operation using 744s?

And to be honest, the TG longhaul C product on their 744s is well behind the times (not remotely close to lie-flat), so it's not like this is a catastrophic downgrade in premium classes.
