The second half of this isn't the only part I disagree with. Fully agree that anyone will always accept a freebie, and that that can cause a downward spiral in service, but up until recently standard domestic F was overpriced for what you got. FCM seems to be finally finding a good balance between cost and product.
Or conversely, is there a market for a premium domestic service which is a step up on domestic F? Apparently not on this city pair at the prices D1 needs to command.
