I will say we enjoyed our trip along 138, the views of the St Lawrence when going through towns is terrific.

A tip: if you prefer some solitude, go on a weekday or off season. It was a beautiful Sunday (sunny & much warmer than normal for this time of year), EVERY single restaurant we passed on 138 was packed to the gills, not our scene. (we hate people )
