If any of these interest you, you may want to call Continental and check to see what's available for the travel dates you are looking for before making the offer to your parents. There may be an "expedite fee" since the dates are so near.

You may want to buy a copy of the Sunday New York Times (even last Sunday's since your travel date is so near) and check the ads for departures from the New York area.

One other suggestion is to go to www.travelocity.com, then select Dream Maps
(under Highlights, lower left corner of screen), then input your budget and let it display which destinations have air/hotel
packages from your area in that price range.
