Thought I'd report a good experience (so far) with 1st-Air. I decided to give them a chance to price an upcoming C Class fare on UA, ORD-NRT. Specified the exact non-stop flights I wanted and specifically noted that I wanted exactly two flight segments--no more, no less. Even mentioned the fact that my previous two tix included unwanted (hidden city) Canadian starting and/or ending points.

Was pleasantly surprised to get a quote of approx. $4600 apparently without any funny stuff (this is significantly cheaper than full-fare C Class direct from UA). Confirmed the details with UA, got my two upgrades in to F, and I should be on my way--without any worries this time.

Will certainly report if my experience differs from my expectations.
