I have just noticed something that I wonder is related. United flight itineraries always used to get added automatically to my Google Calendar - suddenly that has stopped. I have no issues sending my itineraries from work email to gmail and having it auto-added to my Google calendar.
On a slightly separate note, the United.com generated .vcs files not being compatible with Google Calendars is a long-running issue. Apparently, the workaround is to edit the .vcs file directly in Notepad or other plain text editor, change instances of "End" to "END" (case sensitive), save, and then import.
