Is the item such that it would get you in trouble if you didn't report and import it or are you simply importing items over the non-taxed financial threshold?

In the first case, I'd report it to Danish customs and get it registered then drive to Sweden make the judgement call again.

In the second case I'd take the gamble and pretend innocence where you to be checked.
